Items turned in to the BLM by concerned citizens: Mancos Black-on-white seed jar (likely dates to the mid to late AD 1000s) from Cedar Mesa that was found by thoughtful hikers who disclosed their find to the BLM, who subsequently excavated the jar with the finders; carved bird discovered along Cottonwood Wash and turned in by a helpful Blanding resident; and the recent discovery by a thoughtful ATVer of a small Dolores Corrugated jar along a newly bladed road.
