Benjamin Rush State Park

Benjamin Rush State Park is in the North East section of Philadelphia and is the only state park within city boundaries. The park provides an area to enjoy the natural beauty of open spaces, places for study, recreation, and the solace of gardening. Hiking, bicycling, birding, and wildlife watching are popular activities. The park features a large community garden, a radio controlled model airplanes flying field, and multi-use trails that meander through open meadows and shady wooded areas.
